i have z-brush , 3d-max and photoshop but im still learning both 3d programs .

its easy to make things look good .
i come from a video effects background .
im here to learn how to apply my limited knowledge to games.

im willing to help all mods just don't ask if its a z-brush thing .
i don't know that much about 3d esp not all the plugins and file formats.

and what is it with no mod teams using mikes to interact with each other .
teamspeak and verntrilo are out a long time even msn and yahoo let you talk to each other .
so why is it mod teams are so far behind in this ?

its not a hard concept we talk we figure things out faster .
PMs have their place but not when your working on something like mods .
maybe im pissing in the wind here but can nobody see why talking to each other would help.
god i even have a free ts channel if pl dont want to use msn or yahoo and x-frie.

buying a £7or£8 mike seems to be to much for a lot of ppl here .
so the fact you get any mods made is beyound me .
and that some mods live in A thread is even more shocking .

i have done effects for amature films but at least i could talk to them.
and if we didnt like something we could change it there and then.
we didnt need to wait for hrs untill everybody got their PM and typed out a reply.
god even then that just means you get to ask one more thing then wait again.

there has to be a better way of doing this .
i know im the new guy bt it makes common sense don't ya think .

There are many reasons and I'll post a few.

1. Members here are from all over the world some having very bad english on msn its even worse theres no way of translating other languages but there is on the Internet.

2. Some people tend to like to keep as hidden as possible not wanting to show there email address to anyone.

3. I know its strange to think but some people don't know how to use MSN.
(or in other words can't be bothered with it.)

I have no problems with it but there you go.

Anther reason is alot of us are in no hurry. I enjoy modding and the community... I see no reason to get an answer right now when there is so much to occupy my time until i get it.

I have a mod project called ages of darkness 2. Based on RTW/BI.

The campaign starts in AD527. That means it is the late periode of the late antique and the beginning of the early middle ages.
I'm looking for new team-members with skills in skinning and/or modelling. Certain units are done, however, a lot of work is left.
