Why am I still getting calls from the Republican campaign?

I just got two calls this morning from the McCain campaign and a lengthy text message on my cell - urging me to "stand up for my country and steer the nation away from the destructive socialist policies of Barack Obama".

This is not a machine call either. There was a real woman on the other side. I asked her if she realizes that election day is... well... OVER, and that doesn't she think it's a little too late to salvage the campaign?

She said "It's never too late sir. The future of our nation is on the line, and it's never too late to do the right thing."

Uh..........................

Am I the only one? Did anyone else get these calls? What are they trying to accomplish here?

Now look - I'm not levelling fingers at McCain. I personally thought his concession speech was very gracious and heartwarming, and though I disagreed with some of his decisions, I could see him as a viable alternative as a president.

I... just find it somewhat discomforting that his supporters refuse to follow election protocol and are still trying to rally votes.
