The economy is what I would focus on first, since it's going to be hurting for quite a while. Then the War in Iraq and foreign policy affairs, then taxes.
You didn't vote and I could agree.
My plans are to shelter as much income as I possibly can from the greed of Barack Obama.
As a teenager, I was taken to various houses and flats above takeaways in the north of England, to be beaten, tortured and raped over 100 times. I was called a “white slag” and “white ****” as they beat me.

first he is going to steal even more money form the 5% that already pay more than half of the nations income tax.
Then he is going to stop spending $9 billion on Iraq a month by pulling out the troops only to realize that most of the soldiers are under a legal contract which legaly entitles them to their pay.
He will then try to dump off all the military supplies built for the war on some country unsucessfuly of course.
the result massive debt even more than we have right now.
and if the economy keeps going to the*s some countries might recall their loans to the US.
YAY for even more massive debt, pissed of rich people, and broken promises![]()
See he really shouldn't pull out as much as he is, pull out some but also leave some armed men there. I mean just ice the cake already, why would you eat a cake without icing right?
But I think he will work on the economy first, it may be a rocky four years, this could be a huge turning point in the world itself, because America takes a huge part in the world.
Didn't you hear Powell and Biden? The Messiah-elect will be "tested" in some fashion. They're just not saying exactly what the test will be.
Wolf Blitzer of CNN asked this of President-elect Obama very recently, asking him which of 5 areas he deemed most important and to act on first.
None of the choices were the economy, and our new President provided that as his answer.

The big issue when voters went to the polls was the economy. Obama's mandate seems to be based to a large extent on the perception amongst many voters that the Republican Whitehouse has failed America economically. Obama must spend most of his energies on lowering unemployment and stablising the financial sector. I think that is what he will do. In order to do that he may have to stop spending so much abroad and spend more at home, so this may well have foreign policy implications, not just in Iraq and Afghanistan, but also for countries receiving US aid such as Egypt, Turkey, Israel, Columbia etc.
I see Obama bringing the Iraq War to its conclusion. Its not going to be a repeat of Vietnam so much as Korea honestly, Al Qaeda and the insurgents are no substitute for the USSR.
They'll still be a substantial American "footprint" left in Iraq for some years to come, just not operating in any frontline capacity.
Most other units that come out of Iraq will be earmarked for Afghanistan, and it'll be really interesting to see how Iran is handled.
Economy.

Everyone is hyped about the economy- Truth is it needs a lot of attention and needs fixed.
However, I see a paramount priority being a return to the Constitution, the dismantling of a majority of Executive Orders put in place by GW Bush, and the taking apart and dissolution of various anti-American acts like the Patriot Act, Protect America Act, etc.
Yes, I hate the fact RTW is out and I still have a Japanese title. Come on now admins- let's get with the program.
It is sad to see Republicans worrying about the economy, especially when "W" by deregulating it ran it to the ground.
Nothing can happen without a sound Economy. It is disgusting to see what the Economy of U.S. went through during the years of G.W. Bush.
So far as the economy is concerned...
