today i got bored of playing RTW and went to go look for some mods, and Roma Surrectum started popping up everywhere, and after i checked it out i started to like it a lot, so i wanted to ask for some help from people who have already downloaded the game, iv tried to download it many times and can't figure this out. (im noobing out) i download the 1.5 full installer but dosen't wanna work (i got gold edition). so what do you do exactly? sorry for not using search, won't bother ya"ll again after this. :hmmm:

did you install it into the data folder ?

it should go into the main game folder not into a specific folder.

Seriously though, he's right: RS is the best mod ever made, and RS2 will top even that!

i think most people get it wrong the first time, they seem to get all excited and rush on without reading the instructions.

Holy Crap! this game is gorgeous, love the new units for guals and carthage, and carthage has archers now, WOOT!the map is also awesome and there are a lot of more cities for the taking. also love the way that the barbarians can build stone walls now, i don't have to max there defenses anymore, here i come rome. thanx to ya"ll for helping, the problem was that i was installing the file in wrong place, time to go play some Roma Surrectum.

Sweet memorys, the first time I layed my eyes on a functioning SPQR mod, I completly lost it, and could not believe it whas free and so much better as vanilla.

Anyway have fun, and teach those Romans. They are small, and throw stuff like a woman, but they wair many things.

General Frum: The term "vanilla" is used as an adjective. "Vanilla" means "basic or ordinary", no special features etc. You can use the term vanilla to describe basically anything straight or plain.

it meerly suggests that it is the basic version the first and most widely available, the one that everyone has tried at least once, where as not everybody has tried the goldfish flavour or the tuna and grapefruit may not be to every ones taste..........
