    Default Ralph Nader

I'm just curious, is there anyone here who is planning on voting for Ralph Nader, or who already has?

Correct me if I'm wrong about this, but isn't this now his third time trying to run for the Presidency of the US?

I'm voting for McCain, if for only a few reasons, but Ralph Nader might have been my other choice were he more successful.

In other words: I like Ralph Nader, he turns everything into a system where there's only one significant party worth voting for?

Now who's the communist? XD Yeah, you sure love your freedom!

Not likely this year. He stayed under the radar well...I don't think the people take him as seriously as previously. Media blackout on him?

I never understood the hate for Nader. The guy has spent his whole adult life arguing for the rights of the consumer. Sometimes his actions have changed industry standards that were threatening the lives of consumers here in the US.

I think the guy is a ing hero.

He's a sharp cookie for sure.

If he got more votes, I too would vote for him. Maybe next time.

Beyond that though. Nobody takes him seriously.

I would recommend that everyone look at his Wikipedia page, just for a taste.

Its more of a case of him pissing off the special interest lobbyists who back both of the big parties.

that and he gets so few votes his party isn't aloud to run next time. as i understand it u have to get atleast 10% to run ur party again. Perot is the only person to do that since TR, and he believe he used the same party as well. atleast the name part.

I like Ralph Nader, the man. Ralph Nader the candidate is not an option.

He is smart enough, so I simply do not know why he pursues windmills. Maybe it is the virtue of the quest -- just like the Spanish knight --- but that was satire.

Nader is both the first Arab American and Lebanese American presidential candidate in the U.S.[1
This is why he is hated sometimes.
If im not mistaken he doesnt have much love for Israel and frankly most of his enviromental initiatives are both populist and stupid. It just makes him a non-canidate really, I wouldnt put him in charge of anything. Heck it would be better if he lost his entire fortune so he could be reduced to activist rather then politician.

Poor Ralph Nader. He's like the weak little whiny kid that tries out for the football team only to be laughed off the field. Every four years.

You gotta love American distain for the weak. Who cares what his policies are, if he's not going to win, and doesn't have the common decency to compromise all his positions and join one of the two big parties, then he should be mercilessly ridiculed.
