    Default Forum Directed Campaign

    Hey all.

I am starting a Roman campaign, and I got the idea to make the forum my senate.

In a quick summary, my armies and foreign policies go to no foreign lands without your consent. I will choose 1 or two out of every five suggestions.
Suggestions must have a time frame for it to happen. Generalised suggestions will be accepted, and used as a long term goal. ETC.
Time frame for each suggestion will be needed.

    House rules-
Any army of another nation entering Roman lands will be considered an act of war, the declaration will not be managed by the senate, and the generals will automatically take over the battle.
All armies must be led by a general.
    No cheats allowed.
    Take things slow.

    First Period-Tiberius Maxentius
    375-380AUC stats.

Leader Stance(What temples said leader builds.): Juno.
Current diplomatic goals: None. Diplomats do nothing.
    Enemies: Carthage and Ephirus.
Military Goals: Consolidate Roman lands, and secure the borders.
Economic Goals: Increase the efficiency of the roman economy.
Senate: No missions assigned for the economy or military.
Stance on war: Do not accept peace treaties, do not begin new wars.
    Current timeframe- 475-480 AUC
Timeframe goal- build structures and military.
Current world events- nations are expanding and contracting as should happen.

Note- Hail senators! The army is at your command, we move only by your order, all we will do for now is repel any attacks on the republics lands!

    381-390AUC stats

Leader Stance(What temples said leader builds.): Juno.
Current diplomatic goals: Trade rights, and lots of them.
    Enemies: Carthage and Ephirus.
Military Goals: Expand into nearby rebel territories of Croton, and one other.
Economic Goals: Focus on trade, farming, mining, etc.
Senate: No missions assigned for the economy or military.
Stance on war: If an attack comes from the enemy, repel the enemy for 4 years, and than offer a cease fire.
    Current timeframe- 481-490 AUC
Timeframe goal- Consolidate power over Italy.
World events- Pergamum is gaining ground on it's former allies, the Seleucids, We now border Ephirus.

I am going to take both of those into account.

This is the first timeframe, after I complete the first 5 year frame, suggestions will be taken into account.

The suggestion to take the rebal cities will be part of the next one, lasting 10 years, to 490AUC.

edit: We still need a few goals for the second period.\
Check the second time frame in the first post for what needs to be suggested.

Don't forget to suggest a senate mission.

May I suggest turning FOW off? It will make the need for strategic watchtowers and spies much more important + the use of diplomats to get update map information.

Senate mission suggestion: Take Croton within 8 turns
Senate mission rewards: 6,000 via cheat system (i think this idea would work i.e because the senate can normally give rewards, we should be able to do the same thing....)

**RS Dev Team***Reciprocal Repper!* RIP Calvin- you will be missed

maybe there could be some kind of voting for the missions, that "the senate" agrees on together? I'm thinking it could get a bit chaotic with everyone just throwing their ideas in here

    General Frum....

Excellent idea and presentation +Rep. Being as I embrace Rome's enemies I will decline being council. Titus Pullo can carry my support for this great and worthy Enterprise.

I may drop in from time to time to heckle though...{} PS: Ian Altano..Thanks for the guides +Rep

What are you waiting for, take Cannae, then kick Phyruss to Hades. Itally is yours and time on your hands.

Rome starts with capable and enough troops, to do what they did in history: forcing war upon its competetors. Instead of sitting on there asses, you got to put your maniples to use, but stay away from the NORTH.

Sorry, but this campaign will have to wait a few days to actually get started...

I may be able to do the second 10 years today and have it posted.
