    Default No back in formation

    Is it possible to remove totally the formation of units ? No more squares, just men all over the field in no formation. Horde formation is good but is still a formation in circle. It looks too perfect and squary with formations, even when it is an untrained and undisciplined unit.

    You have to choose one of the presets. Horde is the closest you will get to no formation. You can try spacing them men out further, or reducing their dicipline, which IIRC increases the chances of their formation being broken.

    because of the 'back in formation' units often miss a proper charge, start moving around in the middle of the battle and it doesnt look real

    I don't know all that much about battle mechanics. Maybe you could take a look at the pathfinding settings? I still think that messing around with discipline settings is a good idea.
