lol, conspiracy nut that lost his radio show for being completely off his rocker. Doesn't he realize that if the american currency collapsed that an amero currency would be just as worthless.
And why would the Mexicans or Canadians want to be sucked into this scheme? The benefit for their loss of sovereign powers is what?
That is a fake that some collector's mint made last year. I do think there is a NWO conspiracy, but they can't join a North American Union just yet, they'd have rebellions dotting the landscape.
To stabilize the US currency of course.
Well any joint currency in north america (like the euro) will be built upon the strength of the US dollar. The idea that an amero will be able step in should the dollar collapse is just nutters. The Canadian and mexican currency just don't have that kind of global strength.well in the video he talks about an Mexico Canadian American currency fussion :S
Theres a video after it that says "Debunked", when you watch it you find out that the Amero in question was made by some dude who does medallions, fake coins, jewelery type work.
Good scare though.
As for the NAU thing, it did creep me out a bit when you saw people like Lou Dobbs, as in actual media figures, reporting on it. But sorry, I don't see it happening.
@ Viking, the idea behind the conspiracy is that all 3 presidents, Bush, Fox and PM Martin, are going to rail road this through, without putting it forth for a vote or something. It's hardto believe when you get down to it, then you have people like Alex Jones who say it's a plot put forth by ancient Sumerian mummies or something, and then it's just ridiculous.

Hal Turner bases his haltless claims that "the United States, Canada and Mexico will be merged into a single nation" on ... a coin? This is supposed to be his "irrefuteable proof" as he claims?
Fact is, this is nothing but a standard conspiracy theory similar to the "America was never on the moon" one, only less popular. Actually Mr Turner has been going around, trying to sell his story for quite some time now and he has been proven wrong countless times. Here is one example: http://www.snopes.com/politics/business/amero.asp
The "ameros" are actually nothing but collectibles, nice little items made by the coin designer Daniel Carr. He said he solely created them in order to find out whether people would like them as a currency for North America:
"My goal with these coins is not to endorse a Union of North America or a common "Amero" currency. I fully support the United States Constitution, and I would not welcome (in any form) a diminishment of its provisions. I expect that these coins will help make more people aware of the issue and the possible ramifications. I leave it up to others to decide if they are in favor of, or against a North American Union. And I encourage citizens to voice their approval or disapproval of government plans that impact them."

The coin Hal Turner shows as "proof" for his ridiculous claims is nothing but one from the Daniel Carr collection.
