It looks like you took the map from this mornings newspaper, then put all of the "tossup" states onto the side of Obama and added Arizona (they have Arizona as "leaning" toward McCain).

I'd post that for comparison, but...I can't because I don't have a screensho.....wait yeah I think I do. I'll throw it up here so you can check it out in a second.

No the -- CNN map had alot of toss ups. I did give them all except Georgia to McCain-- go check out the map maker linked in the OP.

mine was more traditional, giving the southern and western toss up states to McCain

but even then, it was 291/247 Obama

Also I checked the map. I gave every state to McCain except those that are 6% or more favoring Obama...
Obama still wins. Go check it. If you give McCain every state except those that are +6% favoring Obama he still loses.

Now tell me how on earth McCain hopes to turn that tide?

Oswald, that's WAY too optimistic. No US state map will ever look that blue.

Here's what I think will happen this election:

EDIT: Bleh, imageshack is being a DEMON >: O. Anyway, Arizona, Montana, Missouri, North Carolina and Indiana will still go McCain I think.

They don't have the tossups listed under either candidate, since they're tossups.

I changed AZ, MT, ND, IN, OH, NC, FL, and GA to solid McCain and Obama still won. That just goes to show how far behind McCain really is, because just about every electoral map says the same thing.

That's why I gave everything up to +6% to McCain. Actually there are no states between 5.8-7%.
So unless the polls are 7% wrong in favor of McCain in all the states... then I think we won't see Palin as a VP.
