Yes.

Oh, you want directions? Send that army to the west, cross the river, and follow it to the north. If you have a Diplomat/Spy, he should make it in ... three, maybe four turns. Oh, and the Rebels up there are Amazon Chariots, and I think that they can also have Yubtseb elephants, but I'm not sure and I've never seen them.
indeed
it's called "Thermiskyra" or something, that's where the amazons live
just bring some spear units (phalanx preferably) , cause i see you're thrace that shouldn't be a problem
and some archer units, if you have luck, you'll face only some units of amazon chariots, if you have bad luck, a full stack or something will be waiting
people always say it's so hard, but i never had trouble with them
have fun!
i don't understand everyone has such problems with capturing and keeping that city, i never had any problems with that![]()
i have reached the area and my armies destroyed by their armies. I have to build more powerful armies to beat that bastards.
im also in a war with romans and britons and i think im a lil bit overextended...
They have beaten me for 3 times and Im getting angry now....
Beware, the Amazons are laying in ambush. Use a spy to see them and sidestep them. Use archers and a high influence general to take the city. Exterminate to reduce unrest. High influence govenor should be able to maintain unrest until stabilized. Never had problems myself.
There are no elephants in a vanilla game.
LOL.. and again
There are no Yubsteb elephants in an unmodded game

Enough is enough.
I simply never bothered to capture. I believe it's 2 or so years of marching to get there...for one town? And Yubtseb elephants put me off of an expedition there as well, lol.

Carthage is still alive!
Jon had taken Donal and Benjens advice to heart: Sam may be fat and pathetic, but he is still a member of the watch, and one of the few black brothers who isn't a rapist or thief. (out of context, this sounds ridiculously racist)

i never had problems with that city. Only the long march to it is annoying.
Love is the most powerful thing on Earth, unless you have access to weaponry.
I can't believe you let the advisor govern your cities.....that's MADNESS I tell you!
I auto-resolved that thing without paying much attention to it. :hmmm:
