RS no longer works.

I am encountering a problem myself, but I don't think I should open a new topic, so here it is...

I have no problem whatsoever with my RS 1.5a until now. However, today, when I booted my computer and launched it, it simply said "Rome: Total War encountered an unspecified error and will now exit."

Not RS, mind you, just plain ole RTW. There has been no change from the last time I played RS, but I just can't get past that message. Do you have any ideas about what could have caused that and how to fix it?

First question, what have changed or modded? Second, try installing RS1.5b and see if that fixes it.

Just to be sure: do I have to reinstall RTW to install 1.5b?

EDIT: Well, go figure. Nothing another reboot of my PC could not fix. Sorry to have used your time and thanks for the advice. I may switch to 1.5b soon, anyway.

1.5b is just a patch to 1.5a, it is fully save game compatible, so update whenever
