Well I would just want a mod which made everything totally historically accurate, so if you played as a certain faction, everything that happened to it in history, would happen while you played as well. But I'm just a history freak, so yeah

I find historical accuracy boring cause if it was so historical you wouldnt make much difference. Maybe once I am down with Alagaesia:TW I may start a mobile suit mod that does not have a campaign only custom battles. Then return with the Alagaesia expansion Druga's Desire *Still working on the name lol*

Paleolithic Total War. Basically stone age man, plus big mean neanderthals. But I'd want it fairly realistic - no sabre-tooth riders, for example. Not sure about mammoths. There could be 20 tribes (factions) each with 20 units. Slingers, bowmen, spearmen, javelinmen, clubmen of various types. Maybe even just rock-throwers. Tribes would be white-skinned, brown-skinned, black-skinned. Some stark naked, some with loincloths, others in skins. They would adorn with body paint and standard bearers would be shamans with totem poles. Cities would be pretty much barbarian faction stockade settlements, but with skin & mammoth tusk tents. Neanderthals could be employed as mercs, or as a faction of their own. Currency would be beads or shells or something.

Check out the movie "Quest for Fire" it sounds exactly like your mod idea, plus it has to be the best caveman movie ever.

Dont worry Im a mod leader of Alagaesia:TW all I can do is barely skin, basic coding, research and organise a team. I think I organise quite well to be honest lol.

Not neccesarily impossible unless theres a limit to how big the map can be. But what era would you set it in and all that?

You see some of these ideas theat people have can actually be brought into Rome especially many fantasy ones.

I would play a caveman style mod. Basically you have to go from being a cave man tribe leader to an emporrer and a king... that would be totally awesome. map could be Africa to Norther Europe showing partially minor asia.
