Is it possible to change Faction Heir w/ cheats?

I had never really looked at the cheats before, but it really annoys me that in vanilla you can't choose your heir (and that it doesn't logically pick on for you). I had the idea that maybe you could add the faction heir trait with cheats (and possibly remove it as well). Does anyone know if this is possible?

Well I figured if you could add other traits that it might be possible to do that one too. If not, too bad. I'll try it next time I have time to play, but I thought I'd check here first to see if anyone had tried it/thought it might work.

What I would suggest is to ask your question in the modding thread maybe they have a way to do so.

I asked the same question before, but apparently there is no way to do that. And its pain in the neck because it was so good when you could choose your own heirs.

I actually think there's technically a way to change the heir status of someone, as the heir status might be determined by the trait "Faction Heir", so you could cheat to remove Faction Heir from one and put it on another, but I'm not sure if that will guarantee success.

there is no way to change the heir the way there was in RTW, its hardcoded in, and theres nothing any mod can do either.

the only thing u can do is if ur in a situation where simply killing off the current heir will get it on the heir that you want it on.

i have no idea why they deleted that feature in the first place :hmmm:, I mean it was so good when you could change your faction heirs and when you can groom this or that particular general to be your faction heir. Why CA deleted it its beyond me.
