yeha i couldnt see a thread for this, and what it is, i want to know what aethiests believe is the true story of the creation of the universe? and how in one day the earth was barron but became full of bacteria the next day, unexplicably? i have had arguements countless times whether there is god, and the creation story always seems to be there was nothing, then there was the universe, i find that as easy to believe as god

Atheists do not have faith in or reject religious dogma. For this reason there is no official atheist creation story and no "one" answer to your question.
Moreover, whenever fluorescent square motion is required, it may also be employed in conjunction with the drawn reciprocation dingle arm, to reduce sinusoidal depleneration.

The question 'why is there something rather than nothing?' is a metaphysical one. Generally speaking Atheists do not feel that metaphysical questions are worth bothering about, since they cannot be definitively answered. However, the theories explaining how the universe went from being a singularity to how it came to look like it does today (in physical terms) are fairly well develloped in most areas. They're not really questions where being religious or not need matter.

A really quick run through of a modern day theories for Life on Earth.
Black Hole explosed. Energy condenses into matter. Matter forms stars/planets. Planets cool, form Hydrological systems. Water allows matter to interact in new ways. Slowly more complex chemicals form. Eventually complex material+catalysts allow the complex material to self propergate (this would be considered the start of life I assume). Several complex materials combine to form an more complex organism, i.e. bacteria. Over millions of years the processes get more and more complicated, allowing for more advanced life i.e. bugs, plants, mammals, fish. Eventually Humans turn up.

Thats probably a rough guide, but as it has been said there is yet to be a Dogma for Atheists, not that it isn't possible for one to be formed eventually. As for existance itself, It may well of always been there. There is only a need for a beginning because we inately want there to be one.

I can only answer for this atheist:

    I don't know.

I find it much more comforting to accept that I don't know and likely never will, than blindly cling to a tale that will inevitably end up being wrong anyway.

It would actually do a great amount of good for humanity in general to be a little more humble and just accept that we don't know, I think. This whole "our religion is the one true religion and holds the answer to all things" is not only arrogant but also the worst case of overestimation possible. Seriously, on this one little planet in this massive universe, we are ants. No wait, we're less than ants. Yet our priests and imams think they've got it all figured out. Silly humans. 8D
