Multiple instances of RTW

Is it possible to have multiple instances of RTW installed on one PC?
I would like to have RTW Vanilla, RTRPE and RTRPE Extended Realism?
Is this possible, if so how can I do this?

Yes. Simply copy and paste your clean installed RTW Vanilla then rename the folders so you know which is which.

Yes it is, follow Orbiter's instructions and you should be fine. I currently have RS, XGM, EB and ExRM on my computer, plus a clean RTW install.

Yeah, it's totally possible. However, for you mods, you can install the mod-folder version of RTRPE onto one copy of RTW, then install ExRM onto that copy of RTRPE, and still be able to play all of them without an extra copy of Vanilla....
