    Default greek family tree

i am a bit confused with the greek indipendent cities family tree...

the faction leader at the gamestart is a spartan, right...the heir is a syracusan...how can he be the heir if he's not present in the family tree? why does other character have their own family, their own sons and daughters and they don't appear in the family tree? are there more than one?

oh, and not to open another thread...why the hell the achaean league has the spartan lamba as flag???

    I'll gladly answer your questions.

IGCS Family tree: In order to balance the campaign, I had to assign a Syracusan heir - otherwise all new generals would be with Spartan Royal Guards..

The reason why Hiero of Syracuse doesn't appear in the family tree, is because he is not related to the Spartans. If and when Hiero becomes faction leader, the family tree will be replaced automatically. It's just a wierd trick to limit the amount of Spartans. I should just make Hiero the faction leader though, would save a lot of trouble...

Achaean League's Flag: Some serious lack of inspiration and time. Hopefully, someone will help me with faction symbols in the future. No specific reason why it's 'lambda'.

    thanks for your answers...

i tried to "suicide" the spartan faction leader...well, Hiero becomes leader and the other spartan becomes hier...but there's no possibility to choose the heir between different fam trees?

Ah? So that's what you're getting at? I guess I'll have to revise the whole family tree and give them a common predecessor patron that links them all together. That would fix the problem, but it would also make the family tree rather huge.

i know, but i think that's the only way not to have heir designed by random!
