"One of the most sophisticated Total War mods ever developed..."
The Fourth Age: Total War - The Dominion of Men
did she say 'as always the voice form the wilderness' at the end? Ron Paul lives in the woods? Seriously, he makes good remarks, why cant we have less govt regulations and more free will?
"I know it's not always easy being my friend, but I'll be there when you need me." - Doc Holliday
"I don't like to commit myself about heaven and hell, you see, I have friends in both places." --Mark Twain
You do realize that of COURSE the very guy who's not running(left the campaign trail... I don't know when) and has never won the presidency and might never win, is the one who's most of the time right? I decided a long time ago that Ron Paul is awsome and the US is too stupid to realize it. They'd rather have a battle between an old has-been and a random black guy who says basically, "vote for me, I'll give you money."
Ron is a freaking doctor! He's smart and responsible and actually has a conscience.
I'm...
BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACK!!!

Lol neophyte, but I still like Ron. I'm just an ol' sukcer when it comes to people who want to actually follow the constitution and who still believes people can take care of themselves.
I used to be a real Paulite because of his strong strong anti-war stance. But now I'm pro Iraq-war, so...
And the civil liberties thing, of course. But I'm no libertarian by any means, and so there's really no reason for me to be kind to the bloke anymorelol...
Ron Paul has a much longer-term view of things then most politicians.
lol, fair enough.
Part of the american government is the possiblity of supporting the candidate that best supports your views.
Usually when you are right about these sorts of things you are labeled a conspiracy nut and marginalized. When you are finally right, people tend to forget that you told them so.
There is no doubt he effectively plays the role of "truth-teller", especially within the republican party, but that doesn't make him any less wrong. Voters discount him because his positions are wrong and extremely ideological, not solely because of party socialization and loyalty.
But then again I'm a centrist, so I can't be expected to be his No. 1 fan.
I don't discount his comments on NAFTA radicalism, or his criticisms of Republican policy, but it his solutions which I, and many others, take issue with.
We're not all sheep, most that know who Ron Paul is even do not want to vote for the man. His views are the minority for good reason, not only because of democratic principle (which doesn't hold much water with me) but because of policy criticisms. There is good reason to believe the policies he would implement would be disastrous (fiscal policy, monetary policy, environmental policy, foreign policy).
. . . moving on back to ron paul.
obviously there needs to be a move back towards less government in the market place. i've said this many times in many threads. u can only keep piling on the government so much.
however, i hope to God ron paul isn't the one who ever has to help us do it.
Under the patronage of Lord Condormanius (12.29.08)"Yes, I know why the leaf is turning yellow. Its a lack of chloroform."
It's just sad that Ron Paul seems to be the only guy that really talks about this in the political arena.
But mark me well; Religion is my name;
An angel once: but now a fury grown,
Too often talked of, but too little known.
-Jonathan Swift
"There's only a few things I'd actually kill for: revenge, jewelry, Father O'Malley's weedwacker..."

I loves Ron Paul. I have no idea what he's saying but it just sounds so soothing.
"I have need to be all on fire, for I have mountains of ice about me to melt." -William Lloyd Garrison
"The end may justify the means as long as there is something that justifies the end." -Leon Trotsky
Ron Paul actually endorced Chuck Baldwin for President (independent, constitutional party).

if I was a US citizen, I'd vote for Baldwin. it is a biggest no brainer in the world.
