That's odd. According to Honga, they have two. I don't know if that's a typo on that site, or if perhaps Real Recruitment or BGR 3 changed that statistic.
Cheers.
Just checked EDU and all other generals have 1hp, even the mulism ones..
Hmm, I guess I just had bac luck I guess.
Just 1 hitpoint? I'd prefer give them worst stats and keep them the 2 hitpoints. Those guys are the best warriors of the country, the game should represent it!
well they are free... and they do kinda kick ass... plus they're free...
did i mention that they are free?
lol. Odd?
This is nothing new, might be a vanilla Stainless Steel thing, actually. If not I guess it's RR RC.
Just feed them carrots, trust me.
Changes to the EDU and EDB are save game compatible.

'Vanilla' SS has 2HP generals but smaller unit numbers.
RR/RC has 1HP but larger units.
Step away from the Skooma pipe.
Never! Oh, perhaps you are right. Very well.
Ehem, uh, I wonder though, why were they made so weak.
Because when they were 2HP there were about 2 million threads complaining (correctly) they were overpowered. With 1HP they have slightly boosted stats compared even to 'Elite' units and increased numbers, but cannot be used as bulldozers/tanks as they can with 2HP. They were especially unbalancing in early era; in later eras with AP weapons, pikes, polearms, crossbows etc its not such an issue.
Search on 'overpowered generals' you will likely find plenty of reading material!
It appears with this mod there is always reasoning behind the madness.
Well sometimes its the other way around.
Sometimes I encounter, anomalies, but for the most part the Steel that is without Stain is fairly balanced, however, sometimes it can be too balanced for its own good with a slight pattern of redundancy of unit stats between factions but this mod is still #1.
