    Default how to tweak the campaign script on vh/vh to give the AI more money...HELP PLEASE

    help me please...using broken crescent 1.05 with all the AI updates installed...

    REQUIRED:
    "open the campaign script and increase the cash scripts that go to the factions around [mine]"...basically this guy suggested i give more money to the AI so that i have a harder time winning on vh/vh

    GIVEN:
    i am ignorant about modding, but alas i do know about computer building, so im guesssin i should find the campaign script in the BC folder first and open it with notepad. then do "cntrl+f" and look for something....does anyone know what that something is?

    Just add this to the top of the file:

      console_command add_money 5000, egypt
      console_command add_money 5000, turks
      console_command add_money 5000, mongols
      ;Fill in the rest of the nations here
    end_monitor

    so, this will make every faction get a bonus 5000 per turn?
    thnx!
    ps. do i need to write out the entire names, ex: "abbasida_caliphate", "sultanate_of_ghazni" or are there abbreviations i have to use?

    Internally, BC uses the vanilla faction names. You can find them in descr_strat.txt, or ask a member of the BC team.

    I think you can also go to the descr_strat.txt in the "\data\world\maps\campaign\imperial_campaign(the campaign you want to change)" and add money to the faction you want with the denari_kings_purse, or the denari(starting funds).

    example: faction england, balanced smith
    ai_label catholic
    denari 10000
    denari_kings_purse 9500

    watch out with the quantity you add, you can have start issues with the campaign.

    There is alot that needs to be changed in the AI for it to use money correctly.Just changing the scripts will not change the way the AI uses the extra cash.The BAI and CAI need changes.The best mod for AI changes are the XBAI and XCAI mods by modder xeryx.He is devoting all his effort on just the AI's for this game.Just dumping extra cash will not change the AI to use it to be more aggressive.Or make it build more or bigger armies.

    if you only want to give money to the AI factions and not your own you wil have to use a condition in there called Faction is local and if this for Kingdoms you do not have to use console command.

    monitor_event FactionTurnStart not FactionIsLocal
    and FactionType england
    and Treasury < 20000
    console_command add_money england, 15000
    end_monitor
