The tilde (~) key. The one above "Tab" and to the left of "1"

Or for other keyboards it can be § or ±. But always above tab and left of 1, like akm said. But be careful: if it doesn't work, you may have some issue with vista, I know mine doesn't work at all, tried 3 different keyboards, all wired, made by 3 different companies, worked fine on my XP comp, than got vista and right away stopped working.

Vista handles stuff differently, this also gives problems in editing the text files. And as is said, in using the cheat panel.

I use Vista Home Premium and it works 90% of the time I try it (for population control ONLY!!!) Freakin' 12% growth rates.. Anyway, sometimes it doesn't work because I assume it does not think Rome is the open window on top. I opened a word document and then Rome and everything I typed in Rome Shell showed up the the word document in the background. I closed the game and when it was reopening I furiously clicked on every screen while it was loading to make sure it was the #1 window. This may only work for me, I've only tried the word document thing once. Don't even get me started on text editing with Vista. If I could get my XP again, I would!

It always works for me I have vista is it just me or dose it seem like vista favors some while killing others?
