Is it just me or Ireland keep causing random crashes.

Whenever I have a random crash (not even CTD, game crash where music is playing but screen is black and you see nothing but a hourglass) about 30% of the time I finish at battle with the Irish. No other faction seems to cause this either, only when I fight a battle with the Irish, route/capture all enemies and click the checkmark after the victory stats appear.

The thing is if I load to that point right before battle ( I always save before battles), then sometimes everything goes smoothly.

Anyone noticed this or is it just me?

I have had that happen right before battle where you click continue. The screen would turn black and the music would play but nothing else. I've waited up to fifteen minutes and I couldn't even exit the game, I had to restart my computer to get out, which isn't good for it by the way. I fixed this by getting all the patches I could. As for your problem, the only thing I could suggest is a patch perhaps. If you are already patched then....I'm sorry my friend, don't know what else to say.

Can you let us know which factions you were playing?

If you enable the ability to play in custom battles (and remove another faction) it might be worth checking each of the irish units to see if it is any particular ones?

DO you have any sub-mods installed?

It's very random - if I load it and play the battle again it won't.

So far I've played as French and Aragon against the Irish.

Have you modded any of the descr factions files at all. Perhaps you changed something concerning them and now it is conflicting with other data.

I did mod it so that the Brittania camapign music would only play for the Isle factions...
