    Default Hole By Toledo

I don't know how many mods have used the same big map, The Long Road, The Kingdoms mod, Lusted's mod, but all of them have the same bug in the same spot which needs to be pointed out should that map be the basis for this mod as well.

If you fight a battle just to the northwest of Toledo, you'll find your army either in a very deep hole, or very much on the edge of it. Suffice to say it will frequently crash the game or render the battle unfightable.

To spot the hole, just move a unit directly to the northwest of Toledo and watch carefully, you'll see the unit drop to halfway up it's knees before coming out again.

Now I don't know why that hole is there. But it should be dealt with if that Big Map is being used.

Toledo itself was on a rock which made that castle one of the most impregnable fortresses in Spain. Even as late as the Spanish Civil War in the mid 1930's Franco's forces were able to hold out for weeks against everything the Communist Government could throw against it before Franco's forces were able to relieve the defenders.

No we have our own, but that is something to watch out for.
Sounds cool and spooky though if you ask me!

It may be historically accurate. I'm pretty sure there is a rift in the space-time continuum somewhere around there, I think it got bigger after the sub-atomic particle testing in Switzerland

that's cool! but granada has more than the alhambra only.it also have several minarets, some mosques, city gates, a madrasa, hammams, streets and houses preserved dating from Nasrid rule and before.
it is great to go to some (unknown) spanish small town or city, to discover that it's church is actualy a converted mosque or that the mihrab with stuco ornaments in the church is preserved, or that it's city walls date from moorish times. or that you see some arabic looking building with arabic inscriptions, but that you discover after reading a guide that it is builded after the christian "reconquest" of the place.
