HOW HAVE I NEVER HEARD OF THIS MOVIE BEFORE? ^_^ ("Foxy Brown") If you havnt seen it, (first of all your a no good honkey) secondly I highly recomend it.

    http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0071517/

You might of heard of the QT movie "Jakie Brown" that movie, is essentially part 2 to this movie. And for once I think QT does a worse job than the movie he's doing an homage to. I had so much fun watching this movie .

Imma go try to find somewhere I can rent "Coffy"

    KILL WHITEY!

I caught 'Coffy' on IFC the other night. Struck me as mere blaxploitation.

Blaxploitation... thats all it is. No deeper meaning or significance. On the same level as Blackula, Black Caesar or....Soul Plane

Tom Arnold makes me feel slimey inside. But the classic blaxplotation movies, they got some style. Just say "jive turkey", just once and you can feel it.

If you want true classics try Dolemite. But that's straight comedy. If you want something with more drama try The Mack.

After you've seen at least one Dolemite movie and The Mack...you have to look at I'm Gonna Git You Sucka. That way you'll have a better context for the jokes.

Want to see who the original Biggie Smalls was? Try Let's Do it Again. Of course you'd have to see the prequel first Uptown Saturday Night.

Most of these movies have lines, names and scenes that are constantly used in todays hip-hop/rap culture...I think you'd find it funny to see the inspiration for some of those. Beyond that...

Dolemite is frickin' hilarious......Thought Lil' Kim was the first "Queen Bee!?" Nope!

The planetarium scene in The Mack and the scene in the barber shop about the cars...classic

Imagine J.J. from Good Times as a middle-weight boxer, that's Let's Do it Again.

Then you get I'm Gonna Git You Sucka which brings them all together and parodies them...platform shoes with goldfish in them......

If you only see one I'd say make it either The Mack or Dolemite...you won't be disappointed.
