Default New Campaign idea :Rise of Empires

thought up a new interesting idea of a campaign
Quite simply the game will take place on the whole of SS map, and for the early most part of our campaigning will focus on building an empire,
but by the end of it we will have empires waging war upon an epic scale.

First there will only be 7 factions allowed to be played which include.

    1. Jerusalem
    2. Lithuania
    3. Genoa
    4. Portugal
    5. Aragon
    6. Ireland
    7. Norway

These 7 kingdoms are some of the weakest kingdoms of SS, and this is exactly the point!,

You are given this small Kingdom and the challenge is to rise it too the strength of empire in very short amount of time, You will be racing with everyone else who is playing,
The climax of this expansion and constant warfare against computers will be when you face off against another person's empire,

The slower you are at building your empire, the more likely you will end up being swallowed, so this is not for faint of heart.

The Kingdoms are all fairly equal,
The weakest Lithuania and Jerusalem have only 1 city each, yet they have large untouched land uninfluenced by human players to the east, (still a challenge with only one city).

The rest of the kingdoms all consisting of 2 cities but are more closely knit together.

The result will be the gradual emergence of large empires which hence the name Rise of empires,

I'm looking for players who are interested in this unique style of game,
The early turns will be quick due to the limitations of their early kingdom, so I expect people to play once or even twice a day, at least for the begging, I'm expecting dedicated players who are experienced.... Those of you who have trouble in a single player against the AI, this isn't recommended...

So what do you all think?,
Worth a try........... If so choose a kingdom, if we have enough then We can start this game

    Jerusalem - TriforceV
    Lithuania -
    Remi
    Genoa -
    Kaizer Merlox
    Portugal -
    Aragon -
    Ireland -
    Empedocles
    Norway - Nightbringer

sounds fun to me, my computer is goen for another week or so though so i would have to wait till then. a couple of times a week i wouldent be able to play a turn but i should be pretty available

my top pick would be Norway, i have never really played them and havent been in the north for a while either so they sound fun to me!

Hi, this looks interesting and I live in Norway but have never played them in a hotseat campaign, so I wonder can I play them? Please?
If it not, I will play Aragon.

I'll set you up for Portugal

And yeah I thought about that as well
but its still pretty balanced, Aragon is as close to Portugal as it is to Genoa
Similarily Norway & Ireland are fairly close.

And besides, if I was Aragon, I wouldn't try to fight over scraps of Iberia with Portugal when I could go north and capitalize on almost all of France

Either way it will be interesting to see how it develops.

    two more

I'm surprised Ireland hasn't been picked yet,
Its a good pick as its the most top western nation and is on an island and can control of all of Britannia,
would have been my second pick
