Re: Rebel
Check your king's stats.
He probably has the "Inspires Civil War" trait.
Which means just that: you are in the midst of a civil war. Yes, this is supposed to happen.

Re: Rebel
It helps if you (for example):
- Set the capital in the midst of your realms
- Put your faction leader into the midst of your realms, at least not at the edges or far away from your centre.
- Let your faction leader visiting the settlements where your rebellious characters govern.
- Let your characters not generate to "house-sitting fools", they'll get basicly better traits and ancs if you let them get over some "proper" tasks (chivalrous fights for example).
- Let them build "proper" buildings ( they need successful influence in the settlements
)
- Let them marry your house-princesses.
... while it is hard to bring them back to loyalty if these characters are already beyond any loyalty.

Re: Rebel
SV is playing as good RPG game, you have to realy pay atention to ruling your court and better forget about conquering the fiefs on the other side of map; they will rebel eventualy; this was historicly how all those Norman and Crusader states were created. The younger sons of rulers were always looking for some new lands... for themselfs
