can civil wars begin at all? say if your faction has a number of unloyal family members/generals will they start a mass rebellion?
I think it is a feature in SS6.1, I'm not sure though.
It's happened in my 4.1 campaign (I don't have Kingdoms) so unless they took it out it'll probably happen in 6.1 too. I don't believe it's a SS specific mod though. Rather a standalone one that they integrated into SS.
I started off with a faction leader that gained the trait "Offends the nobility" and noticed a slight drop in loyalty for some family members and an increase for others. My faction leader then went on to get the trait "Inspires Civil War" leaving me with either generals at full loyalty or others who said "You're not my King" and had zero loyalty. The only thing I could do with those who had zero loyalty was take them out of my cities (leaving them in would certainly lead to civil revolt). After that they have no movement points so there's no chance of being able to send them out on a 'death ship'.
It really added an extra dimension to my Scottish campaign though I try a lot harder now to prevent it from happening again.
In vanilla, No. But you can have so many of your own generals revolt that they all become rebel . . that's as close as you'll get.
The pleasure about a dream is that it's a fantasy. If it ever came real then it wasn't a dream.
