sorry for the new thread but i need a response soon sorry

ive got the thing saying
SPQR:TW 6.4 full install

as well as the writing about it being an excutable file

it wants me to point to a destination folder
the 2 options it gives me are
c:\programfiles\activision\rome-totalwar
c:\programfiles\thecreativeassembly

!!or!!

i can browse files should i lead it to my copied vanilla folder or to one of the above??

thanks for any help the my reply might be a few mins as i cant log on whilst on admin

you need to install it to the copy of your vanilla folder.

ive just tried that but it doesn't seem to like it, it comes up with a desktop image of some books in a box. At the end of me doing it, it says that it may have not dowloaded properly.

what should i do then??

the books in a box is normal that s the install file. if it tells you it didn' t download proper you should try donwloading it again.

isn't the books the symbol for a file that needs to be extracted

yes but it will start the installer of the mod when you dubble click the icon. not like winzip.

i done it sort of it works but i dont have a specific icon instead i have two when i pull one onto the other it magically works, thanks hesus just one problem and that is those damned elephants and spartans. meh ill get used to them im already quite far on medium/medium.

p.s should i invade carthage after the reforms??

invade carthage afther taking greece. and to kill elephants you need javalintrowers turn of there skirmish and fire at will mode and use them only against the elephants.
