I read somewhere (presumably at FATW forums) that unit classes give bonuses against other unit classes ("spearman" vs "cavalry", for example). How does it work?

Try THIS.![]()
Thanks aradan. Thats a coool guide, had already read it. However, the only thing that guide answers for sure is that horsemen get +8 against infantry (+8 what? attack? deffense:hmmm:?). I was asking if "unit_class" (spearmen, light, heavy, etc) give some bonus.
The class itself gives no bonus, otherwise I'd have mentioned it. The bonuses stem from the attributes (either the unit's or its weapons')
Being a cavalry unit gives a bonus "indirectly", that +8 isn't a fixed bonus somewhere in the code, it's just a result (translated into a numerical value by me) of the various aspects of melee combat that come into play, the mount's mass, it's ability to move fats, the fatc that the rider is less vulnerable and everything else the game engine does to horsemen.
Aja:hmmm:...
It would be cool to access the game engine. It would answer every question we currently have
![]()
OMG, you are right![]()
