No they didn't there was such a thing called the "auld alliance" in which the two countries of Scotland and France went to war systematicaly when the other was attacked by the common enemy England.

I play as England and i invade such countries as a Hungary and the Kwarezmian Empire.

I did not have any racist intent with my comment. I just dislike Britain as a civilization and the Brits for making the magic. Brits, or Englishmen, has been oppressors of the Celts and Scots for a long time. This fact is rarely talked about, and I feel the people of England should be more regretful of their past and not wave the bloody flag whenever the Queen pops up. It is also my conception that the Brits are inbreed. Hiding away on an island for that long a time can't be good.

I support the French rather than the English, that's maybe why I'm giving the Brits a hard time now that I play as the Kingdom of France. My invasion shall devestate the people of the island, and I shall, in contrary to one of you Brits signature here on the forum, make them slaves. I know it may be silly, it is only in the game, but I wouldn't disapprove if something like that every happend.

Normans were not from Nothern France, Normans were the Vikings, Scandinavians, "Nord Men". Normans were also the rulers and most of the nobles in Sicily since the conquest of the island by Robert Guiscard. Normans were also those who attacked Constantinople several times coming from the northern shores of the Black Sea.

And yes, a situation fo war between France and Scotland is really weird. But a war between Poland and Genoa, or between Aragon and Denmark is weird too, and those things happen in MIITW. Remember the Byzantines leading the Varangian Guard attacking the Varangians from Kiev.
