Hi, I'm new here. Just thought I'd share a strategy I've been using for awhile. You guys have probably used it but I dunno, here it is. At some point or another you'll end up going on a crusade to Cairo, so you make your army, yatta yatta yatta and you end up on the beach near Alexandria. Capture Alexandria, then take all of your soldiers and capture Cairo, if you have enough move points. After you accomplish your goal for the Crusade, you'll get money, but that's not the main thing. After you have both Alexandria and Cairo, sell them for a pretty good amount of money or good money and trade for a piece of land to a faction that you share borders with. Like if you're England, trade with France. After they buy it, this isn't full proven but it works usually for me, after a few turns Cairo and Alexandria will revolt, and they'll become rebel settlements. The nation you border will be down a lot of money, or down a territory, while you gain territory. Do this over and over and eventually they'll only own like 2 or 3 territories, and nothing in the middle east, because they'll keep revolting. Easy way to get a lot of money or to beat your neighbors with diplomacy and not war!
