    Default Un-install Problems

I wanted to uninstall Rome: Total War-Gold Edition so I could mod it again, so I went to "add/remove programs" to try and uninstall. I can't remember the message but it told I couldn't. I thought that I would just delete the game files, as I had done previously. I deleted the contents of a folder called "games" that included all the game files, "BI" "Data" etc. As it was deleting the files it told me that it couldn't delete some because of protected wrting OR the disk was full. I checked afterwards and it was a collection of shortcuts and a file called "mss32.dll". Possibly for my brief mod "Napoleanonic: Total War". I was able to delete some (I don't know how) but the remaining two(2) won't go, I can't even "cut" them, it just copies them...it won't let me un-install...not even with the Autoplay

    Please help

You will need to: turn system restore off from "my Computer /properties"

Open "run" type regedit and make a search with the terms rome, RTW, SEGA, CA, Napoleonic, NTW. Delete the registry keys.

Be careful not to delete anything irrelevant as with the term "rome", for example many Nero registry keys will come up.

    Restart your PC.
