Ya know those little cutscenes you get when you have a spy or assassin go in on a mission? There is a cutscene for just about every assassination scene, such as murdering a priest while that priest is inside a city, got one for taking a priest down while they are not garrisoned in a city etc. etc...

Alright, to the point.

This is something I have yet to ever try, but I've been wondering...

Does the Pope have a special cutscene just for him? I know the Pope is a character that can be seen on the campaign map, though he tends to hang out in cities such as Rome. I've never attempted to assassinate the Pope before, so I've never seen his (if he has one) special cutscene before.

Question is, does the Pope have his own special cutscene? If so, are there different ones?

Yes Sir, If you try or succeed in assassination you get to see one that I know of. If their is more than one can someone please say.

Yes, he does. I've assassinated the pope many times, but right now I only remember one: He's sitting in the church, doing his thing, and you see your assassin come up on a ledge in the back with a crossbow. He either hits him, or the bolt lands in the pope's pope hat.

I never use assassins on non cheat campaigns because all they do is die.

tried to assassinate the pope 8 times in a row (my assassin had 17 in subterfuge, don´t know though if the +7 counts)... I succeeded every time and killed off 8 popes in 8 turns... the funny thing was, that all the popes where my own cardinals...

now to my point... I NEVER had the crossbow-in-church-movie... I always killed off the pope in his bed with a fecking snake!!! (thus my 8 attempts, I want to see that bloody movie!!! )


on a sidenote... I have gotten a movie only once when I killed of a general... my assassin let fire to a cart of grass and let the sleeping beauty burn in his bed... another i have gotten was the one when you knife him in the marketsquare while he is squeezing apples (damn fruitsqueezer! )

There are so many varied assassination scenes and about 95% of the time I get the snake one! Bah! There are some I have almost never seen, like in the marketplace where the assassin is breathing heavily, only have seen it a couple of times.

I never kill priests, they help me even if enemy, to convert the population. I do kill imams, but they have no special cutscenes- just the snake.

BTW the snake that appears in the movie is non-poisonous... it is a false coral!

Question: Is there a way to see these movies outside the game? I would like to take a look at the pope assassination and others that I have neves seen.
