I choose the Newbury map and added a village settlement.

I then picked a new Model army of Four units of shot with four units of pike. Oakey's Dragoons, five units of Horse, a saker and culverine.

I let the Computer pick the Royalist forces.

On starting they were set up in the village. I opened proceedings with an artillery barrage. This prompted the Royalists to charge out with their cavalry which I meet head on with my horse. The Royalist horse fled back to the village. I rallied the horse and sent the Dragoons to the village edge where they kept up an annoying fire on the troops inside.

I then advance my foot. Two Regiments, pikes to the front entered the village. The others flanked the village either side and then closed in, again pikes to the fore. After protracted push of pike the village was mine.

A very convincing engament with buildings on fire and damaged from the artillery and the AI using excellent tatics to try and delay my forces.
