Richard said the robber took $60 from the woman, then became angry when he saw a McCain bumper sticker on the victim's car. The attacker then punched and kicked the victim, before using the knife to scratch the letter "B" into her face, Richard said."

Lovely, so like in past week we've had a house shot up for having a Mccain sign, nearly an entire town harrassing a resturant for supporting Mccain and now a woman's face carved with the letter B. Well... I don't think I can make any comments about that without sounding racist. But I wouldnt be surprised if this dastardly malcontent was just voting for 'B' because of the similarities on the outside, vice any policies 'B' may have.

The Times magazines for the military, eg, Army Times Navy Times etc etc, did a poll on service members to see who would vote for whom. Not surprisingly most of the military is for McCain cause usually thats how it goes but funny enough is that they broke it down by age, race, gender, etc, and 79% African Americans in the military would vote for 'B'. I just think that's a little ridiculous.

I understand your desire to see posts critical of either candidate more evenly divided.

The problem there is, so many more people support Obama so that makes it pretty much impossible.

Well its not just evenly divided Im worried about but rather importances. Going from robbery to assaulting someone over a candidate be it an Obama or Mccain supporter to me is far more troubling then yahoos in a crowd yelling stuff. One is just idiotic talk while other is real harm. To me things like this are more important so wanted to step back in a forum full of "Al Qaeda supports Mccain" or "Obama is a muslim" and post something that in my view is actually troubling/scary.

I'll settle at 4 to 1 odds. And our definition of "riot" will be met when any one of these conditions are met and can be attributed to a civil distubance related to the election:
1. one death
2. more than 1 car on fire
3. consecutive stores vandalized
4. 10 or more injuries
5. 10 or more arrests
