ive always found when im playing any total war game but espically Rome, i always have different types of music i listen on my mp3 to get me in the WARRIOR mood
e.g. when charging on a open battlefield i have eric johnsons Cliffs of dover playing or sieging a city its unknown solider by breaking benjamin.

does anyone else listen to music while playing

and any artists they might be willing to share

I just go with the normal RTW music. It's good enough, for me.

Love is the most powerful thing on Earth, unless you have access to weaponry.

But some people use other music when fighting
In my spare time I listen to Vocal Trance and Trance.

But Trance is a happy making music genre xD Not good for RTW I think while slaughtering armies

I will agree with the above posters. I believe RTW's music gets me in the appropriate mood for playing. The presentation of a game overall can motivate you into playing it, and RTW is excellent in that department.

Although I might be listening to some stuff when I watch battle replays, the "Pathetique" sonata and the Symphony no 5 by Beethoven are among my top choices, as they are fast and rigorous.

I listen to a playlist which mostly consists of symphonic power metal! Rhapsody Of Fire/Luca Turilli/Nightwish. Other is Juno Reactor which is something like trance/electric/psychedelia or something like that don't remember how it is spelled .

Enya is mine, and if sometimes if I use Gaul or Britania,Clannad is the go. Secret garden is OK also. I know it is a plug, but I must say EB Mod has done a good music mix,I am quite impressed they have done this. I do not know how to access the individual music files for RTW so I am not sure exactly what they have? If I can download them to my computer as MP3 I would be happy.
