Why this mod?

I am about to download a mod for the first time and I was just wondering why this mod is better than RTR. I've heard that this is a very complex mod, if so this will definetly be the one I download. So, what features make this better than RTR?

We try not to compare ourselves to other mods. It usually brings about bitter feelings that quite honestly hamper the community and creative process. I would say there is currently a sense of friendly competitiveness between EB and RTR that both sides desire to continue rather than risk the vitriolic fights that used to exist in the past. This desire extends to the mods' fans on behalf of the team for the sake of community.

I would say that it is fair to state that EB is more complex than most mods, but whether that is a good thing or not is purely up to the individual playing the game. I'm personally curious to see where the latest and complete incarnation of RTR takes us, but that is still at an unknown time in the future.

EB and RTR both have different feels to their gameplay and the opinion held by many is for you to simply download both and make your own decision.
