    Default Joe being Joe

    http://www.nypost.com/seven/10222008...ias_134700.htm
I could give you many more sources if necessary but why is Biden considered a brilliant foreign policy expert and Palin who has had a comparatively minimal amount of miscues considered a total idiot? He's like the second coming of Dan Quayle except he is older and more experienced so he has less of an excuse.
"July 14, 2008: I think this is a case where Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae are fundamentally sound. They're not in danger of going under. They're not the best investment these days from a long term standpoint going back. I think they are in good shape going forward. They're in the housing market. I do think their prospects going forward are very solid."

I like how it went completely unnoticed when he said that "when the stock market crashed Franklin Roosevelt didn't come out on TV...". Ok the FDR part I can understand was just a mixup of who was president when, but come on TV. Biden has gotten away with so much it's not funny

Biden has a habit of not thinking things through. As president, he would probably be required to think things through, and probably wouldn't act so dumb. Palin has had her "Putin rearing his ugly head over the US" quote-that was pretty bad. I just think that if Biden was president, he would have to stop and think for once, and would probably make better use of his experience. Palin on the other hand, has no useful foreign policy experience to fall back upon. She would be totally reliant on advisors. Thus, she would be Bush III-now hotter and with tits!

    And amusing http://blogs.abcnews.com/politicalpu...-now-much.html

Palin is far more accessible to media then Biden is....and since age is an issue its amusing that Biden's blunders are sounding more senile like then anything Mccain has said/done. Of course Biden is hand picked by the messiah and hence beyond insult.

Valid point but the question is why does Biden get a pass but yet Palin doesnt for blunders?

it's probably why reporters who talked a lot with McCain gave him a slack on some of his mistakes. People knew Biden's record as a very accomplished senator.

Theres a huge difference between what Biden says and what Palin says. Biden is a very rash politician he often says things that he has to apologize for but as bush bush said (welcome back) Biden is a very accomplish politician. Biden also doesnt stumble and ramble incoherently during interviews.

    Biden practies rhetorical flourishments.

    Palin practices blowing bubbles.

So we come to the root of the problem, the extreme double standard between the two. No matter how many times Biden says incorrect facts he is forgiven.

If he really did know so much why would he say so much to use a term he would malarkey?

Essentially experience isn't a sole qualification. So my oppinion is that Biden with very few exceptions during his time in the senate has been nothing more then an empty suit. A foreign policy expert wouldn't say things like that bit about Lebanon in the debate.

Basically your excusing it away because other washington Big shots have done it in the past. WOW great excuse.

First off remember how the republicans criticised Edwards for a 400 dollar haircut. That would take Edwards more than 60 years if he got a 400 dollar haircut every week to = 150K. There is no excuse for spending 150K from donation funds on ing clothes.

Thats even worse as he means what he says or he at least actually thinks that. I gave him a shot he was supposed to be very accomplished politician but all he has shown himself capable of is arrogance and windbaggery.
