Default Regarding Elves and Dwarfes and other long lived races.

Will Elf and Dwarf and other long lived races have a system implimented like a script that will allow them to live many many long years compared to manish generals?
This is what Ive allways wanted in a fantasy game, it would really add to the feeling of playing thease exotic factions and add to the roleplaying. As otherwise it would feel rather fake if your Dwarf King dies at 59.

I'm not sure how the leader system works but..
What if you happened to get a leader with bad stats? Assassinate him or just deal with it for 100 turns?

    Elves don't get bad stats.

Sorry, but Feanor killing his own kin to disobey his Gods and sail west to with the intent to murder Morgoth and then his Sons trying to kill the dude who got the jewel from Morgoths crown proves that Elves do in fact get "Bad Stats" although they might not be as bad as men normally are.

Youd probably have more than enough time to get both good and bad stats, but if you really didint like your genearl you could allways just get him killed as you say. But even if this is an issue the positives still would outweigh the negatives imo.

Also as Jean=A=Luc says above "Elves don't get bad stats.:whistling" on the top of my head I can't think of basicly any elves with bad traits, Feanor maybe but he did go through a hell of alot of shock from Melkor.

The worst trait may be "hubris."

The Elves became a bit too proud and too sure of themselves. Not much of that is shown in the Third Age lore because they've been somewhat humbled. Elves have very long memories..

I hope its possible otherwise this may happen....

Two little hobbits reach the surronding area of Mount Doom.

Sam: Ah finally, its been one hell of a journey.
Frodo: Whats that ruin in the distance?
Sam: wow there seems to be some big dead Eye and its surronded by rubble from what looks like a massive fortress tower.
Frodo: isint that dead eye Sauron?
    Sam: ya it is
Frodo: so what should we do now?
Sam: lets go home and stop for a drink at the good ole Green Dragon
Gollum: so can I have the precious?
Frodo: sure we don't need it where were going

Please make sure Suron doesent die of old age so this never ever ever happens!

As far i know...the ring is not in the game/mod. They want to focus on the third age with the war between good and evil. (War of the ring was late third age, but it is not part of this mod)

That's right, that's not what a TW game is about. Think of it like this:
What would have happened if The Ring was never destroyed...?

Anyway, I'm sorry to tell you that the average lifespan of generals is the same for every faction.
We'll probably increase it from vanilla, but you'll have to live with dwarves who don't get 250 years old, and elves who sail west around the age of 80 (or whatever age the team decides to be most fitting).

There were some bad elves. Feanor just swore and oath to get the silmarils and the "dude" that got 1 from morgoth was rather selfish after he got it.The bad ones were Eol (dark elf the father of Maeglin he betrayed Gondolin).

Well, I was thinking that Bilbo keeps the ring, so Sauron doesn't get it, but neither does Frodo.

Anyway, this thread has been answered, and has served it's purpose.
