    Default AOR

I am not surprised to hear you are adding an AOR to this mod to make it more historical (logically), but will this be a "permeanant" AOR? For example, prior to 1066, the only troops that the Saxon Kings could raise in England were infantry, while afterwards when England became "Frenchified" knights and the like became more common.
My question is, is there any way for you to be eventually able to recruit your own faction's units in a province that is not in your AOR? As a rough idea, perhaps after you've occupied a settlement for 30 years, you can start to train your own units there in addition to native ones...
I'd be interested to hear your thoughts on this!

This always interested me, and I always thought that there should be a more dynamic AOR over a period years. We'll see what the team has in store for us.

Of course, due to divison of units into three basic categories, you will be able to recruit your faction specific units everywhere in your empire if you fulfill certain requirements. AOR is not for all units naturally.

This is a great idea Giorgios. As Ressurection said, we could represent this via the existing governments system; if you choose to build a colony instead of a full-fledged government, your recruitment options will be limited. We are also limiting access to certain buildings and troops until certain events occur. For example, the Templars will not come into existence until a there has been a succesful crusade to the holy land. If you have any ideas for more events/triggers such as this, please tell us.

Okay, to add to what my fine comrades have said, the ability to develop a region to unlock different AOR units will definitely be variable on how you develop each conquered territory and you won't be able to expect to just bulldoze in and raise an army and move on.
I hope I will be able to explain the complexities of this system through what we are writing in the preview right now. To be honest, I have got to the stage where we are writing SO MUCH STUFF on say just this feature that I can't even see whether it makes sense anymore.
We have so much to explain and at the same time we don't want to present a Preview that is just plain boring. I am trying to present info in the simplest and most logical way possible. I hope it gets the point across
