details on the campaign map

Some details that could be added/changed on the campaign map:

1.) Can you add more oasis west of the nile river – only for looking on the landscape (I don´t mean new towns there!)
Attached a pic from wikipedia with the five egyptian oasis.

2.) The Oasis of Siwa (Amonion in the game) should be smaller.

3.) South of the Egyptian border in ancient lower nubia there was not much cultivatable land, so maybe make there desert areas on both sides of the nile.

4.) The area of Shatt el Arab (southern iraq) was in ancient times smaller – The Persian gulf reached more inland and the rivers of Euphrates and Tigris had initially separated mouths.
Does anybody know, which way they looked around 500 ? Have the two rivers joined before they reached the gulf ?

Either way, you should expand the Persian gulf till the area, where the two rivers combine.

Well I don't know if the ROP team will use these, but i found these tips helpful for my own map, so thanks.

Point 4 has already been implemented a few weeks ago, I made it just after the two rivers join I think - will check tomorrow. The others sound useful, I'll give em a try, thanks! If you see any other inconsistencies, let me know as I'm already revamping the map considerably
