ZING!

Democrats 200,000 GOP 1 or something like that
Wait you mean ACORN 200,000 GOP 1 Democrats 0.

Democrats, ACORN same thing.
I wish McCain had challenged Obama more on this. He should have asked Obama in the debate to support banning the practice of paying people to register and paying canvasers for each signature.
I'll remember this when you try to dodge a guilt by association thing next time a friend-of-the-GOPs up.
Or you can back out of that now and not have to eat your foot later. Because you know eventually some GOP ally is gonna screw itself. As I know some democrat ally will screw itself again eventually.

LOL, ACRON...
Ahh, classic democrats at work.
Eh, that old chestnut...

This discussion explains differences between "voter fraud" and "election fraud". Learn it, live it, love it.
Also it points out and describes techniques used by the Republican party to manipulate elections.

Given Republicans' track record with regards to elections I wouldn't be so hasty to condemn Acorn so solemnly. Feet aren't particularly tasty and you may need them in life.

Thank you. I've been trying to explain the difference to some people for a week now. chamaeleo is correct. If ACORN was trying to stuff the ballot box for Obama they'd use names that could sound like real people, not cartoon mice. (not to mention they would not flag these bad registrations)
Concerns over Mickey Mouse actually casting his ballot for Obama are nothing, compared to what's happening to registered Dem voters in Florida, Colorado, New Mexico and Ohio right now...disenfranchisement in the hundreds of thousands. If you're OK with the GOP stopping at nothing to overrule the will of the American people, then you are anti-democracy...enjoy your dictatorship.

They're actually less than nothing.
This whole ACORN thing is just more scare tactics by Republicans.
It's starting to become obvious that GOP supporters are poorly educated and get their news/info from limited sources (Fox) causing them to be easily bamboozled and hoodwinked by the GOP.
The average GOP supporter, IMO, is ignorant and/or doesn't care about the difference between 'voter registration fraud' and actual 'voter fraud.' When McCain (in the last debate), Palin (almost everytime she opens her mouth) and other surrogates use the phrase 'voter fraud' when discussing ACORN I, IMO, think they're purposely trying to scare the electorate...
As you mentioned, there is a pattern of behavior from the GOP that demonstrates a willingness to suppress votes and voters...I can't see how anyone can support them.
Yeah as mentioned above now 200,000 to 1...of course your source is rather dubious and in my requires a more credible one. Surely there is republican fraud attempts, I doubt anyone is denying that but ACORN thing is pretty much systematic.
This coming from a guy who pulls a story from left wing blog site...It's starting to become obvious that GOP supporters are poorly educated and get their news/info from limited sources (Fox) causing them to be easily bamboozled and hoodwinked by the GOP.
Gee generalize much? I like it how people think trying to register homeless people for cash, fake names, kids etc isnt voter fraud because its so absurd that they would never actually be allowed to cast votes. The average GOP supporter, IMO, is ignorant and/or doesn't care about the difference between 'voter registration fraud' and actual 'voter fraud.' 200,000 what?
What is he comparing the number of questionable registration cards vs. the number of people arrested on the GOP side?
I first saw the story reported on CNN...when I did a search I found this...but that doesn't change the fact that it's true. This coming from a guy who pulls a story from left wing blog site...
Furthermore, I made the comment to highlight the fact that GOP supporters are getting worked up for registration fraud which is such a non-issue it's beyong being a non-issue.
The bottom line is that Tony Romo CAN'T vote in Nevada (where he was allegedly registered by an ACORN employee) no matter what. A restaurant isn't going to show up trying to cast a vote.
When you have McCain, during a national debate, suggesting that ACORN is going to destroy the "fabric of democracy" because of registration fraud...it's so ridiculous that it's...ridiculous.
McCain/Palin are playing on the ignorance of their supporters.
GOP supporters have bought into the whole left-wing media crap to such an extent that they're easily tricked.
First I said it was just my opinion.Gee generalize much? I like it how people think trying to register homeless people for cash, fake names, kids etc isnt voter fraud because its so absurd that they would never actually be allowed to cast votes.
Umm, because it's NOT "voter fraud" it's "voter registration fraud"...
Voter fraud is when someone tries to vote using false information. If someone showed up trying to pretend to be Tony Romo...that would be voter fraud.

Are we talking about the same ACORN that volutarily sent all its suspicious registration forms to the government to be checked? OH GNOES! They're obviously trying to rig the election.
It wasn't even ACORN that did it, it was lazy 'volunteers' looking to make a quick buck by filling in bogus registration forms.
I wonder how many of those cards were completed by clever little Republicans, with whistles in their pockets...
Bottom line: It's a lot more difficult for imaginary voters to be legitimized, than for some devious official/agency/voting machine manufacturer to discard 1000's of valid votes. The entire ACORN "issue" is another preemptive GOP smokescreen for their own chicanery.

DAMN YOU ACORN!! ACORN ACORN ACORN ACORN. f'n bastards, registering people to vote.
(congrats, you've just been to a palin rally)
True both are guilty, but one certainly does more than the other. Compared to democrats, republicans barely bother to have voter registration drives or get out the vote effort.
As an old poltical science professor said (democrat mind you!), republicans don't need to be told to vote.
