I am not sure if this has been addressed in the new update or someone else has pointed this out yet but I have discovered when you conquer a settlement, destroy everything, and do not repair the walls, then leave and it, when the settlement rebels then you get a crash to desktop. It is probably not even worth fixing though because all you have to do is repair the walls. Just thought I would put this up here in case anyone is having CTD's they can't figure out.
