Howdy,

Love this mod, and I am currently into one of the best medieval campaigns I have ever played, as Denmark. Struggling for control of the Baltic. AI is great, units look great, and the sub mods for SS really do a great job poliching SS up.

One comment I have is that the HRE recruitment is very bland for the largest collection of Princes and Dukedoms in one territory. What about including the more region speciffic units (Burgundian, Austrian, Saxon, etc) This would give the feel, both as the player and when fighting the AI HRE that they are a conglomeration of multiple states. Or at least make these units recruitable in their regions as Mercs?

Not very likely at this point, unless someone does a sub-mod. However, you might want to check out Das Heilige Romische Reich, the M2TW/Kingdoms mod focused primarily on the HRE.

Das Heilige Romische Reich was where I got the idea for this. Would we be able to incorporate the region specific units from that mod? If they are up to snuff that is.

Yes, I have, I installed at same time as SS, there are very many more Germanic Factions as you would expect, but the skins are very much vanilla. I preferred the look and feel of SS.
My son as played as Sweden and really loved it, to be honest he doesn't care about skins and all the sub mods

I see, so there is no really need for me to install that mod, I was thinking about it because HRE is one of my favorite factins in the game.

Nope. Now and for the immediate future, our own units will remain exclusive to our mod.

one the thing that sucked about my campaign is, HRE died out early on and I got an extended poland and hungary. Seriously what a waste.

Ok, you got me thinking now. Is it compatible with M2TW vanilla only or you can combine it with Kingdoms??
