    Default The armies Size

I have a question, Ok so Im Cruising on the Mods section and I see some mod, i go into it, I look at the pictures for it, and I notice their armies size is about either 200 or 250 people strong, For one Group, when its usually about... 60 or 70... is this a mod? or something you can change in the games console?

if you go into the main menu options you can make the unit sizes larger but you'd need a good computer for it to run smoothly....

If you go into Game options from the main menu you can change a thing called unit scale. Setting that to huge gives you around 120 - 150 men per unit. However you'll need to start a new campaign for the change to take effect.

There weren't really any rigid military formations in medieval times. Units were formed into conrois, but these were of verying sizes. So really, whatever size you want is accurate.

Switching to Huge unit size makes the battles take longer, and more fun. I love the massive cavalry charges you can pull off with a full stack of cavalry at huge size!

I find battle times to be similar no matter what the unit size. You may have to kill more men, but you have more men to do the killing. But I agree it certainly makes things more fun.

I love having friggin 120 archers than 60 D:.. its amazing just seeing the arrows rain down, and it actually makes it "More of a chance to hit" with the arrows so i guess that when you have it on Huge setting it kind of makes it a Upside to having large scale armies

No, upkeep is the same per unit.
