    Hey man,

In my mini-mod I changed the speed of some units, unfortunately not from mounted calivermen.

The way of changing the speed is this, look at the Alforrats sample in the EDU file:
    type Alforrats
    dictionary Alforrats ; Alforrats, l
    category cavalry
    class light
    voice_type Light
    accent Mediterranean
    banner faction main_cavalry
    banner holy crusade_cavalry
    soldier BORDER_HORSE, 36, 0, 1
    officer Alforrats_ug1
    officer northern_captain_early_flag
    mount fast pony
    mount_effect elephant -4, camel -4
    attributes sea_faring, hide_forest, hardy, can_withdraw, can_formed_charge
    move_speed_mod 1.4
    formation 2, 4.4, 3, 6, 4, square
    stat_health 1, 0

This line doesn't exist because most of the mods use the standard speed of each unit type, to make them faster simply add this line in the mounted calivermen and ALWAYS between attributes and formation. 1.4 means x1.4, so you can play with x2 or x0.80

My advice, once changed test it with a custom battle with a similar unit at its side, make them run but not grouped coz the group asumes the speed of the slowest.

    Hope this helps!

I cannot say, I only tested this and it works for running only.
