    Default Bachmann and the Anti-Americans

This is really outrageous -- I mean when people like Buchanan start to get embarrassed by the GOP - you know it's sunk to depths unseen in American politics -

This was from last night -- Michelle Bachmann (Rep. MN) looks like one of the children of the corn here -- it's just crazy.

Are people who disagree with your politics Anti-American? Or is it American to disagree?

    She said it.

This isn't Fox Spin and Hearsay News

This is a woman stating her own opinion.

So the network cannot be blamed.

Bachmann said it. SO you cannot blame MSNBC. Bachmann is responsible for her own words.

False. Anti-American is, for example, denying freedom of speech, because it is one of our key laws. So being opposed to that law can make one objectively Anti-American. So I think it depends. It's totally acceptable to call Osama anti-American. It's pure insanity to call Obama anti-American.

Well that's just the point. This women is clearly insane but not at all atypical for the mindless anti-democratic extremists that have been nurtured during the Bush Regime -- and she is part of the congress.

It's probably different in America. The words "un-Australian" are usually invoked when some old lady's filled her house with junk and the Council decides it's time to clean the place up.

Of course blame MSNBC, they shouldn't of let her on there network first of all, since she was a republican, and MSNBC is pro-democrat, like fox is pro-republican.

I'd say it's likely considering McCain struggled his way through Annapolis and crashed five military aircraft before, in his words, he discovered "love of country" as a PoW.

    So yes.

My biggest fear is that the people who continually do this stuff, like calling Obama a socialist (won't name TWC members...you know who you are) etc, are adding fuel to a situation that could end with someone attacking Obama.

Even if you don't agree with his policies, does anyone want to see him physically hurt because of it? If not, why do they continue to use such inflammatory language?

If we are going to talk about anti-America we must first define what "American" means in the abstract. I'd suspect that we could all agree on some things and disagree on many others. So usually talk about who is pro or anti American is an exercise in futility as the word does not have the same meaning to everyone all the time.

That must be the "pro-America" part of the country that Sarah Palin was talking about...

Minn. rep calls talk show appearance `big mistake'

I don't understand something, how can you be caught on tape saying something and then try to claim you never said it? I don't get that.

Here's the most damning thing in the article (beyond the pathetic denial she offered):

Bachmann said Tuesday she probably should have watched "Hardball" to see what it was like before she went on it.
First this supports my earlier claim that GOP supporters get their information from limited sources, I see it must include GOP members as well.

Second, what does she mean by, "what it was like before she went on it." What did she expect, to be able to say what she wants unchallenged? I really don't understand that...it's like a person being upset because an interviewer asked them to prove the claims on their resume.

What's even worse is that GOP/supporters will claim this another example of the left-wing media...

Because she is very very stupid.

She clearly said that the media should investigate the congress to see who is anti-american and who is not.
It's on tape, what's the point of denying it ??
It only makes you look worse.
I thought that was 101 in PR.

i think that is not a matter of the media to do. thats the job of the secret police.

congress has been undermined by terrorists communists and other enemys of the state. time to act

    this post might contain sarcasm

it is scary. posted that a few days ago on a different matter. it is scary as hell to hear from those in power that are too stupid to hide what they think. now they even consider those of different opinion anti-american.
next time you wake up the congress is in gitmo
