Why the mode working slow?
Loading slow..every thing slow..
my comp:
Video card:x1550
Ram:1gb

Nah, he's fine. Mine also has one gig of RAM and EB is running perfectly on the highest game/graphic/audio settings.

can anyone tell me why the EB has so long loading times and when you end your turn it takes forever until its your turn again and same thing when you start battle i have really good computer and EB runs easily in high settings but why it is so slow in the strategy map?

Because of the scripts, I had that problem in my old comp but with this one (3gig ram) It goes very smooth

EB runs on rtw.exe and it is illegal to create a new .exe. The EB development team pushed RTW to its limits and that is why it runs so slowly. It does not matter what kind of computer you have. The loading and the turn times are supposed to be long. However, you shouldn't have any problems with the actual battles and the campaign map unless your computer is really slow.

He is right. I get long loading times but my computer runs fine on the battles and regular map. Plus I have a reletivaly old computer that runs fine.

thanks! And i didnt mean that it is slow in the actual strategy map when i manage the cities etc but the loading times. Maybe loading times get faster if i change the resolution from the best a little bit lower. Its great mod btw!

changing the resolution wont help. it is slow loading because there is lots more being loaded into memory at the beginning than in vanilla RTW or most other mods for that matter...

Did you actually read what was replied ? They said it was illegal so they aren't going to create a new exe. Ofcourse if you want it, you can make it yourself on your own risk, but I doubt you're able to.

well, on my computer it takes 11 minutes from double click on icon EB to see game main menu. no problem, i got used to it

EB peaks at about 1200MB of RAM for me (not including any other processes), so I think 2GB is advisable.

mine is about 4 mins. but heck, if you can't fill 4 minutes of your life (or even less for the in between turns time), then you have some serious issues!!

I fire up the game, the go get a beer, or, empty the garbage, whatever... when I come back, it's ready to go. during the game itself, in between turns, it's a great time to get a fresh beer, take a wizz, etc.

it's all good.
