If you're completely satisfied, you'd not feel satisfied because there is nothing you can do to get better! If you cannot get better, you would have no hope!
eternal paradise is just as bad as eternal hell
To the OP: Would you call it heaven if you cannot even commit sins you want there?

again, a common mistake when arguing against religion. Eternal happiness means you are complete, you don't want to get better, you are just fine the way you are then and there forever and ever. You don't need to hope for anything because everything's fine.
So you end up being desireless and hopeless - just like a stone! Is this really good? BTW everyone can achieve it now by making himself braindead!

Actually stones aren't alive, and cannot be happy. In christianity being in heaven is pretty much the same as being constantly high on weed, you're euphoric, and don't want anything or hope to get anything because you're fine. Whether it's really good is up to you if you're a christian, or you could just go for hell.
But how can someone be constantly high?? If you're constantly high would you still feel happiness? I think it's the change that makes people to feel sad or happy, but I couldn't confirm it anyway

From what I know, you cannot commit sins in Heaven. Here's why: upon entering Heaven (and assuming you are eligible), you're eyes are literally opened to your past misdeeds, and at that point, there would be no way you would even want to think about returning to sinful ways. I believe that God will let all know what their misdeeds were in the past, whether a person is bound for Hell because of unrepentance, or someone is Heaven-bound.
The bottom line is, we will have free will, but we won't abuse it either. So basically, someone would use their own free will to not sin, because there would be no such desire to anymore, or even in Hell, as the suffering present there would not only render anyone incapable of doing sinful actions, but people would also abstain from it simply because they know, absolutely, that it's wrong, and would probably try to strive for a second chance (which would not be given to anyone in Hell).
I believe in Heaven! But I'm not that religions to think that all you who think it's not real need to be burned or whatever lol. But I believe the good things you do in life will be rewarded when you pass away. IDK it's hard to explain.
I am a christian and i wonder sometimes how someone would not be bored in heaven. I guess since you will be living with god will fullfill all desire and needs you wouldnt. The way i rationalise it is that you wouldnt be human anymore, human in the sense of being imperfect and lustful (not just in the sex way)
Well I believe that when your in heaven you wont want to. You will have everything you wanted you will be happy so why woulf you want to. It like having all the things you want and wantting go steal somthing when you can have it. There is no point to sin in heaven you will be liveing with god. For the gift of eternal life is the greatest of gife from god is pretty much having a endless supply of happieness.
"Egyptians; to the young rebels, and to every one who was killed, bloodied or contributed in the simplest way, what you did has defied any description. you have the world on it's knees gazing at your bravery and determination. you have opened up a new chapter in Egyptian history, one that will be determined by people's love for this country" - an honorable revolutionary,
The way I see it, you still have free will in Heaven. You're just satisfied and have no reason to commit sin. At least, you hope. Speaking generally, no matter how good something is, you eventually get tired of it or at least wouldnt mind trying something new. Now sure being in Heaven first would be all well and dandy but imagine being there for eternity. You think you'd be just "satisfied" for the rest of.. all time?
Dont be silly, humans are insatiable.

The more I hear and read about heaven, the less I want to go there.
If humans maintain free will in Paradise, there will always be a few that will tempt God's wrath and commit sin, ranging from murder to adultery and everything in between. Hence, Paradise is a myth; either you become a slave to God, little more than an obedient pet, or you maintain your humanity - including your ability to do ill.
So, once your are in Hell, there is no chance of escape? Couldn't a sinner redeem himself after several eons? This is why the idea of Purgatory appeals to me, as it punishes the evildoer, while still allowing him to gain entrance to Heaven. Sort of like a spiritual prison.
Some people may be irredeemable - Hitler and his ilk, perhaps. Those few might be punished with oblivion.
Medicus, slightly off topic, but you just made me think of something. Wouldn't hell be kind of cool? Considering you could maybe get everyone else there to organize a whole prison break thing, and maybe get back up to the first circle and out the river.
Well I'm sure they have to change torture devices, and if we go by dante you have intervals at which you must travel to different places. these would be oppurtune moments for escape planning.
