Questions (Diplomats and Relations)

hello, I am requesting some answers for the following questions....

In diplomacy do i want to send my diplomat to an opponents settlement, high level diplomat or low level diplomat, family member such as king...etc.?

Why does my relation with surrounding factions (especially allies) begin to deteriorate over time and a fix to this problem...

1- you can send you diplomat to anyone, the computer doesnt change the fations... thiing for wherever or whoeve yoour talkingg too. The prncees is intersted in the same things as the king, and a town and a castle and a diplomat
2- Relations deteriate if you dont do anything to improve them basically. Go to war with their enemies, give them a gift, anything really. Situations that make it detiriate faster are like when youve got a stack of troops outside their capital, or your spy dies trying to break in to a place.

Do as Sun said, but if may friend(Sun) .

1- The better the Level of your diplomat will help you get harder talks into your advantage, it;s like an avocat the better he is the better your chances to win your cause.

2- Like Sun said your relationship will go down if you do not do specific things

1- Give them gifts(Map Information, some money for a couple of turns)
2- Marry your daughter to their faction Hier
3- Help them to fight a common foe
4- Don't get excommunated

thanks rebel + sun...have some rep....but is my offer more likely to be accepted if i send my diplomat to a high level or low level diplomat(being the other faction of course)..

and when you use your princesses to steal generals from other factions does it affect the relation with the faction?

Yes as I have stated in my above post, the better your diplomat the easier you will be able to get an aggreement or received a better amount of money and such...
