Reference to DC is reference to the politics, political lobbying etc. that occurs in DC, and everywhere else around the world in every country. Reference to DC is not saying the people of DC are 'anti-American' etc. but is a reference to big politics and big government.

Chances are Obama will win the Pres. election. I am voting for McCain but have no fear, biggotry nor disgust towards Obama and hope that if he wins, or McCain for that matter, that the new policies will prove to be sound and beneficial. McCain will also stand with Obama if Obama wins on many issues.
