She never said a single thing about anyone in america being anti american, it seems you are reaching into what she said to pull out something very offensive, when all she was getting as it that many of the smaller american towns portray a simpler life, and are filled with very patriotic americans. Somewhat of a alienating comment to make but far less then what you make it out to be.

Let's just hope they were fascist communist kittens who were on their way to international fascist communist fair.

    Main Entry:
1pro Listen to the pronunciation of 1pro
    Pronunciation:
    \ˈprō\
    Function:
    noun
    Inflected Form(s):
    plural pros
    Etymology:
Middle English, from Latin, preposition, for — more at for
    Date:
    15th century

1 : an argument or evidence in affirmation <an appraisal of the pros and cons> 2 : the affirmative side or one holding it
I deduce that if there is an affirmative side to something there must be a non-affirmative side to the same something.

What she really meant was that the smaller towns that are cut off from the world are pro republican. In her mind that automatically means pro american too, since if you're a democrat you can't possibly be a patriot.

What's all this patriotism nonsense every time during US elections anyway. Can't one just live in a country without having to  to the flag while listening to the anthem every night.

    welcome to politics my friend

politicians have ingrained it into many people's heads, and unfortunately, many people have bought into it.

Exactly, Gargadasargarbage is always trying to incite trouble, insult the USA and its people, etc.

Reference to DC is reference to the politics, political lobbying etc. that occurs in DC, and everywhere else around the world in every country. Reference to DC is not saying the people of DC are 'anti-American' etc. but is a reference to big politics and big government.

Look at all the -ball politics etc. that occur in the rest of the world.

It's funny that the morons here try to incite discension (dissent), apprehension and even fear in USA people that visite these stupid forums.

Chances are Obama will win the Pres. election. I am voting for McCain but have no fear, biggotry nor disgust towards Obama and hope that if he wins, or McCain for that matter, that the new policies will prove to be sound and beneficial. McCain will also stand with Obama if Obama wins on many issues. At the present time, the meeting being called for concerning a revamp of the capitalist-socialist financial mechanisms that the western democracies use may prove to bear excellent fruits. Pres. Sarkozy (sp?) of France has some excellent ideas.

People like Garadasargarbage simply like to annoy and irritate people for personal reasons that are based on narrow-minded, biased, etc. emotions.

Oh man, you gotta love that excuse.

I loved the Gitmo option. Clearly the most anti-American thing in a good long time, if you actually have any faith in the sort of values that are enshrined in the constitution.

People just want to invent words.
"Romans not only easily conquered those who fought by cutting, but mocked them too. For the cut, even delivered with force, frequently does not kill, when the vital parts are protected by equipment and bone. On the contrary, a point brought to bear is fatal at two inches; for it is necessary that whatever vital parts it penetrates, it is immersed. Next, when a cut is delivered, the right arm and flank are exposed. However, the point is delivered with the cover of the body and wounds the enemy before he sees it."

mentioning that they were proamerican doesn't make anyplace else anti american. it could make them more pro american then other areas, or it could be SOMETHING ELSE IN THE LIST that makes them more real americans. if she had mentioned they were human does that there r some Americans that aren't humans?

    TRANSCRIPT:
SARAH PALIN: We believe that the best of America is not all in Washington, D.C. We believe, we believe that the best of America is in the small towns that we get to visit, and in the wonderful little pockets of what I call the real America, being here with all of you hard working very patriotic, very pro-America areas of this great nation. This is where we find the kindness and the goodness and the courage of everyday Americans. Those who are running our factories and teaching our kids and growing our food and fighting our wars for us. Those who are protecting us in uniform. Those who are protecting the virtues of freedom.

[] Her Rebuttal to a reporter onboard Bus heading to the next patriotic pro american small town.

SARAH PALIN: Every area across this great country where were stopping and also where the other ticket is stopping, and getting to speak at these rallies, and greeting Americans, its all pro-America. I was just reinforcing the fact, there, where I was, the patriotic people there in these rallies, so excited about positive change and reform of government thats coming, they are so appreciative of our message, hearing our plan. But not pinning one area of America as more pro-America or patriotic than another.
Are there factories in small towns.

Anyway Biden accepted Palin clarification and IMO as well I dont think she meant anything other than is expected from it. Basically I beleive that she honestly meant Its all pro-America. I dont think she was attempting to pin one area as more patriotic then another. Basically this is just political speech which could be seen as pandering to the masses.

We can start with Sanfran where they banned the Marines from filming a commercial there and the city council passed ordinances to harass the Marines working at a recruiting station.

Pretty much just go down the list of the whacko left enclaves and their anti american, anti military ideology and you will find many areas of the nation that are at sharp odds with the real America.

that's the decision of government representing the people there anyways. Are you saying they making their own democratic decision is un-american? get out of here, America isn't about a military dictatorship. No one has to suck the balls of the marines all the time.

same crap again. You are "real America". Anyone who disagrees with you is "anti-American". Don't you see how silly that is?
